Coach Moriah moved to Texas 2 years ago after graduating college. She is a 5th grade teacher in Richardson ISD and is working on her last semester of grad school to earn a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with a Principal’s License.
I grew up in Kansas and have played volleyball for 17 years as an outside and right side hitter and blocker. Along with volleyball, I also played basketball and competed in track & field all 4 years of high school. Some of the best friends and memories come from my own club years in middle school, high school, and college! I have coached 2 club seasons and still play in adult leagues. I love coaching because it allows me to instill the same passion I have for volleyball into young athletes. I look forward to another great season doing my favorite thing!
Coaching Philosophy
To me, building the character of the person is just as important as developing the skills of the athlete. I will coach my players using words and actions tied to values of respect, perseverance, teamwork and sportsmanship that will benefit them further than their days of being an athlete.
“Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better is best.” – Tim Duncan
