Peyton Marshall brings over 15 years of playing experience to the court, including two trips to Nationals as a player. During her time at TCU, she played as a setter on the club team while also taking on key leadership roles, serving as Vice President her junior year and President her senior year. Having spent the majority of her playing career as a setter, Peyton developed a deep understanding of the importance of leadership, communication, and consistency in building a strong and cohesive team.

Peyton is entering her fourth season of coaching. She began her coaching journey during her senior year of high school with a 15s team. Although she stepped away from full-time coaching to focus on college, she remained actively involved by coaching and leading practices throughout her four years competing on TCU’s club team. This will be her second season with 1 United, and she is excited to continue developing strong athletes while supporting their growth both on and off the court.

Coaching Philosophy

As a coach, Peyton is committed to creating an environment that balances structured guidance with player independence. She believes athletes develop most effectively not only through instruction, but also through the opportunity to make mistakes and learn how to correct them. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes equipping players with the tools and confidence to identify areas for improvement, apply feedback, and trust their ability to self-correct. This approach fosters meaningful growth on the court while also building confidence that carries into other areas of life.
