Coach Ko has been playing volleyball since 1985 and has experience playing both indoor and sand volleyball. He has over 38 years of overall volleyball experience in combination of playing and coaching. Ko is dedicated to teaching not only the strategies and performance principles of the game, but helping his players build good character that will serve them on and off the court.

In between his busy schedule he works as a Lead Software Architect and coaching, Ko also is co-owner of his family restaurant, Sticky Rice in Murphy that specializes in Thai dishes as well as dishes from his native land, Laos.

Ko is a father of two, his elder son, Kody is a Digital Artist entrepreneur and is working on building his startup company. His daughter, Kallista will be a freshman attending OU this coming Fall. Ko and his wife, Keo, will be celebrating their 28th anniversary in June. He enjoys woodworking, doing small DIY projects around the house, drawing, listening to music, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
