Fall Academy Training
The objective of the 1 United training Academies is to prepare athletes for the club season and receive technique-specific training. Please see the training descriptions below. Academy training is as much about learning as it is about reps. Players are expected to be a student of the game.
All ages are welcome to participate in Academy training. Players will be separated by age and ability on different courts. Club experience is strongly recommended but not required.
The training will be from September – October. Please register in the chart below!
Setting Academy
Setter-specific training covering a variety of topics that will allow the player to set a fast offense at a high level. All setters may attend the Fundamentals training, but must be approved by Coach Dylan to attend Advanced Training and Tempo Setting. You may email Coach Dylan or speak to him at the clinics!
**If you sign up for Advanced Training, Tempo Setting is included.

Hitting Academy
Comprehensive Hitter training that will allow the player to excel at all aspects of attacking and blocking. Hitting and blocking is about winning the battle at the net. If you want to learn to score in different situations, make game-changing blocks, or hit in a fast tempo offense, come to the specific academies below.

Passing Academy
Train to be the best in passing and defense at your position! Serving and Receiving serve are the most important skills to winning volleyball. No matter your position, if you can serve receive, there will be a place for you on the court! Digging tough hits is one of the most fun parts of the game – the best can also keep the pass in system!
